Mr. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Laws, LLB, with honors from the University of the West Indies, and was admitted to practice in 1998. His legal education was completed at the Norman Manley Law School. He is a member of the Commercial and Litigation Department of the Firm and heads the Firm’s Maritime Practice.

In Mr. Gordon’s years of experience, including as the Deputy Trustee in Bankruptcy for Jamaica, his practice has encompassed aviation, commercial, hospitality, industrial relations, litigation, property, maritime and mining. At present, Mr. Gordon’s has a general commercial practice, with specializations in aviation, maritime, industrial relations and mining. In the areas of aviation and mining, Mr. Gordon represents leading international companies with investments in Jamaica. In his maritime practice, Mr. Gordon has represented local and international shipping interests, including ship owners, ship agents and professional and indemnity insurers.

Mr. Gordon, until recently was a serving military officer of the rank of Captain in the Third Battalion. The Jamaica Regiment (National Reserve). Mr. Gordon sits on the Board of Directors for the Jamaica Defence Force Co-operative Credit Union Limited and also sits on the Governance Committee for the University of Technology, Jamaica.
